School's out!

We have lots of time to play now! And argue... and scream... and laugh... just wish it was more about the laughing and less about the whining :-) HA!

 Thank you Pinterest... We used up some old Easter eggs to make some maracas... I can't believe Natalie sat through the project!  It took alot of "wait, don't touch yet, just a minute, no were not ready for that" kind of talk at this table :-)

 Now you can shake them!

 And I can only imagine what she is thinking here... "Hmmmm... now how do I get the rice out of here?"

 All stickered up!  and ready to make more!  My little crafter!

 And now for some more fun!  It was a VERY COLD pool they slipped into to!

 Time for lunch and some naps....

 And some adult time ;-)

 And a fun surprise after the naps... A slip n slide!  Which is not so slippery when it's not wet.  None of them wanted the water to squirt them, it was Cold!.... But scooting down will do for a minute...

 Until we got it a little more wet....

 And now we can slip!

 And after a margarita (ok maybe 2) Ciocia convinced me to be her slip n slide buddy!

 We got to go to a family reunion in Elma at the Durbins for the day!  Too much fun! A river...

 And... a canoe ride!!! Clara did NOT want to get out!!!

 Lots of cousins... Didn't get them all in the picture, but the girls had no time to be still for a moment!

 This morning consisted of an early morning tea party... Natalie: "here Pippy, I cut you an apple"...

" Oh... Thank you"

 Natalie decided she need to move the party elsewhere... Nat: "Lets go to the beach for a picnic, come on"!

Nat: "Pip I have some soup for you on da spoon, it's for you, you hungry?"  I just can't believe how much she talks... and... how much she sings!  These two were having such a good time this morning, I hope it lasts all summer!

 Allergies??? Just a little!!!! To everything in the NW :-(  But what a little trooper she was... The pricks were painful, but the itching was almost unbearable.  After 5 minutes the nurse came in and said, wow, we usually leave these on for 20 minutes but I'm wiping them off now, she has severe allergies! We will never own a cat or dog... it's official!

And a VERY deserved ice cream cone! She goes back for more food allergy testing in two weeks and she has already planned on going to Dairy Queen next time ;-)

It's already June!

We've been so fortunate to have such beautiful weather!  So we have to take advantage and get our suits on and hang with our wonderful friends!

A Popsicle is a must on a hot day....

And of course we have to welcome the cloudy days too :-)  So onto a little indoor project... Making a string of Cheerios for the birds...

Well... We thought it was for the birds, but after some spying out our back door, we noticed Mr. Squirrel was enjoying a little snack to!

And this is how we roll at the grocery store!  I said I would never  be that Mom pushing around those HUGE carts, well.... Can't say no to these little stinkers!

Too much fun in the sun??? Well... Bring it on rain!  We can still play under your showers!

We had a lovely Saturday evening... Daddy went out with some friends so us girls went to Red Robin and to the park for some energy burning playtime!

Thanks Nana for our summer dresses!!! We LOVE them!!!

And a little doughnut after Sunday school never hurt anyone!?!

Clara got invited to a Birthday party for her friend at school... She is smiling here, but let me tell you, I was lucky to get a moment of happiness on camera!  Most of it was tears of fears.... And then just when she was getting the hang of it, the skates flew out from right underneath her and on her buns (very hard fall) she went... She didn't walk right for the next 30 minutes after that one!
