Another special Birthday & a mini vacation!

Happy Birthday Grammy!!!  We were all paid a special visit and got to celebrate Grammy's birthday with her... Finally!  To much time goes by.... to fast!

Clara made Grammy a special b-day card and drew pictures of all her chickens.  Since she couldn't remember all their names, she got creative and made up some of her very own! 

 Thanks for coming all the way over "THE HILL" to see us!!!

 Clara was in heaven... Swinging, running, throwing balls... and of course, every morning, reading lots of stories in bed with "Gram's"...  This is Clara's new fangled version of Grammy!

 Natalie even got a few laps in with Grammy...

 After lot's of stories.... They finally came down for some breakfast!  Notice... It's not even oatmeal!



The Manke's invited us out to stay with them at the lake for a few days!  Chad was excited to get his pole in the water after a nice day of golf!

 Either way... Aaron didn't care... He just wanted them out of this tube so he could have a turn!

And just as the kids were called in to get ready for dinner... FISH ON!!!  I have alot of pictures of these two on the dock, naked, looking at this fish... But didn't think they were to appropriate!  Nate just cant' keep his hands of his Peeper!  Except when running....

VERY cold sprinkler... And the little ones loved it.  No screaming when this kid gets a little water in her eyes....  

 Rocks... But this time she wasn't going to put them in her mouth.... Shocker!

 She was going to wash them! I CAN'T wait for her to get over the need to taste everything...

We came home to 90 degree weather... No more lake to cool down in.  Natalie was standing at Chad's feet saying "up, up, up" and he's saying noooo... So she took it upon herself to handle this...

 She walked down to her little slide, grabbed the stool and took it back up to Chad and stood on it so she could crawl up him herself! What a smart little cookie!

 While Daddy was busy painting our house we snuck away, to get out of his hair, to Papa and Nana's... Where we caught a nice cool breeze in the boat!

What a good lookin' family!!!

 Natalie didn't know what to think of the big bath all around her... She even tried to crawl out of the boat!

Men can multitask!  Two kids and driving a vessel... And got us all  back to shore safely.. Thanks Papa!!!

Happy Birthday Papa Harris!!!

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA!!!  We got to spend a wonderful evening over at the Birthday boys house and feast on fresh crab once again... We won't disclose how many years we celebrated, but we will say you look amazing for your old age :-)

 The girls were having fun on this sunny day and I couldn't resist these little feet....

Apparently colds & flu bugs still exist in the summer :-(  Poor Clara was down for about a week with this one.... These are the most common positions she was in.  Lot's of rest.....

And this little one didn't escape it.... She know's when she's tired and finds her sleep sack, lays it down and assumes sleeping position.  Yes... this is how she sleeps all nights.... Bun's UP!

Happy 4th of July!!!

 Girls... Getting ready for a fun day in the sun with family and friends.  Boy were we lucky to have such a gorgeous day!

I'm a little parched.... Martini anyone???

 Sweet Papa was able to help Clara with some fun sparklers this year.  Daddy had bought quite a few and this little one didn't let ANY of them sit untouched.  She stayed up until almost midnight... then crashed down at the water on Mom's lap.  Poor Daddy had to go back home with Natalie, but a big thanks to him so Mommy and Clara could have a sleepover.

Trent was trying to show Clara how it's done.... And with a little help from Papa, it can be done!

 Noah was so busy playing, he almost missed out on the sparkler fun!  Big smiles for these kids on this night!

Time to Bring out the little slide for Natalie... What a big girl... She went down that thing one time, and off she went all by herself... up the step, down the slide....! Over & over & over....

But not without some water breaks... It was a HOT day!

 What  a guy... That Chad.... He is DRENCHED after a 9am-5pm day of pressure washing the house.  I think he needs a margarita! STAT!

  After a day of lots of work for Chad, we got to relax in the sun with The Price's....

We don't get to see them often enough!
